Who writes Cornerstonepolitics, and how

Our bylines belong to writers who work from documents first. Some bylines are editorial pen names, and when they are, we say so on the profile.

A pen name here isn't a way to hide accountability. The publication stands behind every article, corrections are published in the open, and each writer's method is described on their profile page so you know how conclusions were reached.

Every writer follows the same rules: start with the primary source, separate facts from interpretation, name the people making claims, and never tell readers how to vote. If you think a writer fell short of that, tell us and we'll respond.
